Media Center
The CSCA Media Center is located on the second floor of Building A. Our Media Center provides a quiet space for research, homework, and reading. Students have access to computers and approximately 15,000 volumes including a Young Adult and Reference Section. The Media Center is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm (Occasionally, the Media Center will be closed for meetings or special events). Our Phone Number is: 954-840-1152.
Students in our lower school may use the Media Center afterschool if accompanied by a parent. Students in Middle School may use the Media Center daily until 3:30 p.m. High School students may use the Media Center until 4 p.m. Parents of our CSCA students may also check out books from our library.
Accelerated Reader is a big part of our lower school curriculum for the Media Center. The students earn points and join point clubs to earn rewards for reading practice. Teachers work with the media specialists to set goals and help the students read independently on their appropriate reading levels. If you have questions about this program, please see Karen Dearen or Kelle Hunter.

After the quiz list comes up, you may click the F3 function key on your computer. A box will come up in the right hand corner. You may type in the name of your book and it will come up, rather than needing to scroll the entire list.
