CSCA Middle & High School Guidance Services

It is the mission of the CSCA Guidance Department to take an active role in meeting the needs of its students and families through Christ-centered activities in spiritual, academic, career, college, social, and personal development.  As partners in student achievement, the Guidance department provides the following services:

High School - Individual course scheduling every year:

Family appointments with course selection based on student performance in each subject, college requirements, cumulative GPA, and motivation/interests of the student.

High School~ College & career planning resources:

ECOS-college planning website available for every high school family with career inventory, SAT & ACT preparation, college research and general college planning tools

College representative visits on campus
Florida college tour for sophomores & juniors

Middle & High School~ student & family counseling issues:

Academic/study skills, behavior/discipline issues, discipleship, personal & family issues, peer relationships, communication, physical & mental health issues, coping skills, goal setting, and self-awareness
