- Wednesday 4/11: Boys Basketball Players Nura Zanna and Jamie Anderson were named 1st Team All-County by the Miami Herald. Stanley Durbin was named to the 3rd team. Alaowei Talent, Robby Bell, Jeffrey Prophete, & Brennan O’Sullivan were all named Honorable Mention. For the Girls Basketball team, DeLise Williams was named to the 2nd team, and Jessica Bell, and Ellie White were named Honorable Mention. - Thursday March 8th: Jr. Crusader Basketball is Coming! It’s Basketball Time! Jr. Crusader Basketball is back for its 11th great year. Our Basketball Class was the first Jr. Crusader Program ever and has always been one of the most popular. This year our CSCA Varsity Head Coaches, Steve Fitzgerald and Lamar Calhoun are back with their staff, along with several of our HS athletes to provide expert instruction for our boys and girls in grades K-5. Jr. Crusader Basketball will take place after school, from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM right on our main campus. The cost for this supervised instructional program is just $55, which includes all sessions and games, plus a multi color Jr. Crusader Basketball T-shirt. - Thursday 2/16: The Crusaders Boys Basketball team defeated Village Academy 68-61 on Thursday night in the Regional Quarterfinals. The Crusaders will take on Sagemont at HOME on Tuesday night 2/21 at 7:00pm in the Regional Semifinals.
- Tuesday 2/14: SourceHoops Preview of the Quarterfinal Round of the Class 3A Regional Tournament (Scroll towards bottom to see preview of CSCA)
- Saturday 2/11: The Crusaders win the District 14-3A Championship with a thrilling victory over Sagemont School 47-42. This is the 3rd District Championship for the Boys Basketball team in the school's history (2012, 2006, 2007). The Crusaders will now move on to Regionals and will host the first round game vs Village Academy on Thursday night 2/16 at 7:00pm.
CONGRATULATIONS CRUSADERS!
- Friday 2/10: The Varsity Boys Basketball team won their Semifinal game vs. Westminster Academy tonight 56-50. They will play Sagemont on Saturday night at 7:00 in the District Championship.
- Fri. 2/10: Sun-Sentinel Article includes Coach Fitzgerald - These five basketball coaches are lifelong gym rats: Dedicated to the sport and players are Burrows, Strand, Randall, Richardson and Fitzgerald
- Tuesday 2/7: The Varsity Boys Basketball team won their Quarterfinal game vs. Lauderdale Lakes Academy tonight. They will play Westminster Academy on Friday night at 5:30 in the semifinal. Come out and support the Crusaders! PLEASE NOTE: All games during Districts will be hosted at Sagemont (there is a $6.00 FHSAA admittance fee). Click here for more details on Friday's game.
- Saturday 2/4: The Crusaders JV Boys basketball team defeats Highlands Christian (SACC Semifinals) and Westminster Academy (Finals) to win the 2012 SACC JV Championship! Great job Crusaders!
- Thu. 2/2: Crusaders Boys Basketball defeats University School, the #1 4A team in the state in a thrilling OT victory!
