"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden... In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to
your Father who is in heaven." — Matthew 5:14-17

Drama-CCDT-JJ-2011 - Dinner Theater- 2011 - JJThe Fine Arts Department at Coral Springs Christian Academy offers students many activities for everyone interested in music, art and drama. Students are encouraged to use their God-given talents.

Our annual Arts Festival showcases student talent in the areas of visual and performing arts. The week’s event schedule includes band and choral performances, art displays, art contests. During the year student artwork is displayed around the school.

Band is offered for students beginning in the fifth grade. Students select instruments under the guidance of the band director and begin working. Students work hard and perform at concerts in December, March and May. Students may also choose to begin the band program at the secondary level. The secondary program includes beginning, intermediate, concert, and jazz bands. Students perform in the ACSI band festival, the Christmas concert, special chapel programs and the Spring Concert.

Chorus is available to students in all school levels. Junior Crusader Chorus is offered to students in 4th and 5th grade. Secondary students are able to participate in chorus at both middle and high school levels. Students are given the opportunity to perform at school and in the community as well as participate in the ACSI festivals.

The Performing Arts Department holds two performances during the school year. The Christmas Candlelight Dinner Theater, held in the beginning of December, and the spring musical, held in April, involve students in grades six through twelve. Students spend weeks rehearsing the musical, working with voice teachers, drama coaches and choreographers. Past productions have included "The Music Man", "It's A Wonderful Life", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "The Sound of Music".  It is a wonderful way the students use their gifts and talents for the Glory of God.

3-ShoutMusic is part of the curriculum for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Students participate in singing, playing instruments, and are introduced to a variety of musical genres. Elementary students also have the opportunity to participate in performance opportunities, including Christmas and spring concerts, grade level programs, and weekly chapels.
