Performing Arts
Coral Springs Christian Academy’s drama department has received commendations from both ACSI and FCIS. When Christian values and the performing arts are combined, students are empowered to do something valuable with the talents the Lord has given them in their performances and in their lives. Coral Springs Christian Academy's vision endeavors to instill in each student a Biblical worldview in order that they may be prepared to serve the Lord in the twenty-first century. Through the use of theater our students get a chance to practice the vision of our school using the mission of our school as a guide. Preparing for a performance requires hours of preparation and attention to detail with the final goal of presenting a show of excellence in a Christ-centered environment for the Glory of God. As we take the example of the Creator Himself "In the beginning God created... and God saw that it was good"(Genesis 1) CSCA theater strives to give students the tools they need to create with excellence and 
have him look upon it as "good." Our musicals are enhanced by a live orchestra, and have included such productions as "The Sound of Music", "Fiddler on the Roof", "The Music Man", and "It's A Wonderful Life" and many others. Students in 6th-12th grade may audition for the plays or musicals. God has always blessed us with very talented students.
